Michele Bachmann's campaign sent this out to supporters:
Dear Supporters, I wanted you to be the first to know the good news. As you know, Saturday was the unofficial beginning of the senate district conventions that will last through April. My campaign worked tirelessly to prepare for these conventions and our efforts are already starting to bear tremendous results. According to the final tally, we achieved an overwhelming victory Saturday at the Senate District 52 Convention. 33 of the 36 elected delegates support our campaign . This is a huge success for all of us and I am proud of you, our supporters, for working so hard to make this victory a reality. With strong determination and enthusiasm, we will continue to work together toward more victories in the coming weeks, which will bring about a victory at the sixth district convention in early May. Every day I am encouraged by the good people who whole heartedly support my campaign because they know I'm running for the right reasons. This process isn't a sprint?it's a marathon. That's why I still need your help and your support to complete this journey to the Republican endorsement.
Please call the campaign office at 612-781-2897 to volunteer just a few hours of your time. I know it's asking a lot, but I think you'll agree with me when I say it's worth a little bit of time now to secure our children's future. I look forward to speaking with all of you in the coming weeks and please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Your Friend,
Michele Bachmann

Krinkie's campaign claims:
Krinkie Has Positive Showing in Michele Bachmanns Back-Yard
After an incredible caucus night, Representative Phil Krinkie made significant progress toward winning the 6th District Republican endorsement at the first BPOU convention this weekend.
Krinkie won over 20 percent of the allotted delegates to the congressional district convention, as well as many of the highly ranked alternates elected on Saturday in Michele Bachmanns home district. This is a significant accomplishment considering it was Sen. Bachmanns own Senate District. The other congressional campaigns in the race were completely shut out.
Even supporters of other campaigns agreed that Phil delivered the most powerful message of the day with his speech about shaking up Washington and fighting for our shared conservative values.
The Krinkie Campaign would like to offer a special note of thanks to its many SD52 supporters who stood on principle and helped make last Saturday a great day for the Krinkie campaign. We would also like to thank all of the attendees for taking time out of their busy lives to participate in this important process.
20% of 36 is 7.2 - so over 20% would be 8 delegates. Bachmann is claiming 33 out of 36 delegates - which would leave 3 delegates for the other campaigns.
I've sent an email to SD Party Chair John McCollum asking him about this discrepancy.
