Earlier this morning I wrote a comment to a post by Dump Bachmann contributor Michele M.
I read over that comment again just now, and I find that it was rude, sarcastic and unmerited. I would like to apologize to Michele for writing it, and say that I am deeply sorry that I sent it in. I was upset by the timing and nature of some of Michele's posts here, but I should have given myself a "time-out" before writing in to the comment thread. Michele M is obviously an ally in our fight to Dump Bachmann, and I should not have written to her in the way I did. I don't even talk to Bachmann supporter dare2sayit like that. All I can say in my own defense is that I was under the influence of pain medication when I wrote it.
My comment in no way reflected the feelings of anyone else connected with the blog. Nobody asked me to write an apology, but I found that I could not go to sleep tonight without apologizing for my boorish behavior. I deeply regret my remarks to you, Michele, and I hope that they will not discourage you from contributing pieces to the blog in the future.
