Michele Bachmann and Her Campaign Continue to Spin Her Lies

Pam Spaulding:

There's nothing like the ka-ching sound of her opponent Democrat Elwyn Tinklenberg's coffers filling to the tune of $640K to make hatemonger and neo-McCarthyite Michele Bachmann (R-MN) crap in her diapers after her "anti-American" comments on Hardball opened fundraising floodgates to ensure that she's booted from office in November.

First, this is what she said to Chris Matthews:

CHRIS MATTHEWS: So you believe that Barack Obama may have anti-American views?

BACHMANN: Absolutely. I'm very concerned he may have anti-American views.

Today Bush face-sucker Bachmann tried to clean up the pantload with this incredible (and easily disproven) statement. (Think Progress):

This morning, Bachmann tried to undo the damage. Appearing on WCCO (Minneapolis' local CBS affiliate), Bachmann denied she ever called Barack Obama's views "anti-American":

HOST: You do feel his [Obama's] views are anti-American?

BACHMANN: I feel his views are concerning. I'm calling on the media to investigate them. I'm not saying that his views are anti-American. That was a misreading of what I said. And so I don't believe that's my position. I'm calling on the media to take a look at what his views are.

No need to worry about misreading, Michele. It's all on videotape.

We here at Dump Bachmann have caught Bachmann lying on videotape several times. We will re-run those vintage Bachmann videos and others every day right up to Election Day. You can also find transcripts and more at the Bachmann Record.

Fox 9 quotes the latest spin from Bachmann's campaign:

A Bachmann campaign spokeswoman released this statement: "This has all been a political spin version of the children's game of telephone." And Bachmann, "never called all liberals anti-Americans, but that's what the media hype has turned it into."

Classic Michele Bachmann... lie and attack the media for reporting the lie.
